This past weekend I took a trip with Alex and Ivan to Munich for Oktoberfest! We had planned to stay at this college student travel company trip lodging, which turned out to be a little different than we expected...
I wish I was kidding.
The actual festival of Oktoberfest was SO COOL. We had an awesome time and went to a ton of different beer tents sampling the different brews and authentic German foods. We spent the entire day there, met tons of different people from around the world and talked to them like we were BFF. There were thousands of people at Oktoberfest. Each beer tent holds up to 9,000, and there are probably 20 or so tents in the entire thing. So that's a lot of people. It was crazy crowded, but it was fun getting lost in the sea of people and being part of the fun!

Luckily, we were able to get another hotel booked for the second night (thanks mom and dad) so we didn't to return to that terrible campground! We had a great trip, and were able to visit some of the original beer halls in Munich too!
